ABOUT

It all started with the desire to help my Mom
The competition among peers, the development of market relations in the country (after the collapse of the USSR), the role of reputation, have instilled in me a craving for equality and a heightened sense of justice.
In those years, private initiative and entrepreneurship had already been legalized, which is normal for you now, but then (late 80s — 90s) it was a global change for the post-Soviet country.
My Mother organized a private furniture enterprise called TAMI, which faced numerous issues in its life, including legal ones, and there was practically no one to resolve them. Renowned lawyers were still preoccupied with ideological confrontation with the West. The institution of private law practice as such was absent (or rather, just being revived). There were few specialists in any specific area of law.

T U R N I N G P O I N T
In 2002, the goal of becoming a Lawyer emerged.
I entered the university and from the second year began to work in my specialty at the largest enterprise in Ukraine: the Zaporizhzhia Automobile Plant.
A year and a half later, I returned to the private furniture company TAMI in a dual role — as an Executive Director and a Legal Adviser. I lead the company within my competence. I represent the interests of the company in government bodies and in interactions with partners.
Since 2011, I have been practicing as a private Lawyer. I have worked as a legal representative for individuals and legal entities. I have handled cases where the claim amount sometimes reached 1 million dollars.

A Lawyer with a high degree of skill in professional activities
I started my professional career from the second year at the Contract Bureau of the Zaporizhzhia Automobile Plant as a junior Legal Adviser. I worked as a legal consultant at the plant in the department of legal work with installment plan debtors. Provided legal assistance as a representative in civil and commercial litigation. Represented the interests of PJSC Prominvestbank in Ukrainian courts. Headed the Kyiv department of claim and litigation work at Credit Collection Group company. In 2017, I gave an interview for the TV channel Poglyad about the legal aspects of free medicine for children. I give pro bono advice to parents of students of No.17 School in Irpin who had problems with the Dobryk Charitable Foundation. Until 2018, I worked as a legal representative for individuals and legal entities. I represented clients’ interests in state authorities and local self-government bodies. A full member of the Ukrainian Bar Association. Graduate of Yaroslav the Wise Law Academy.
Some court decisions obtained by me on behalf of clients have influenced the change in judicial practice in the country and formed the basis for publications in the Ukrainian weekly magazine Law and Business (for example, preventing the Supreme Court of Ukraine from double recovery of court costs by courts of first and appellate instances).
In the case concerning the payment of a guaranteed compensation amount to my client for a deposit in a bank undergoing liquidation, the panel of judges of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine concluded that there were grounds to deviate from the legal position of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, as outlined in a previously adopted resolution (change of judicial practice and determination of jurisdiction of disputes with the Deposit Guarantee Fund for Individuals, taking into account the arguments presented by me).

Enlightenment. Passion. Creativity. Volunteering.
In 2023, at the Shorefront Jewish Community Council, I provided humanitarian assistance to immigrants and refugees from Ukraine, elderly individuals, and economically disadvantaged people in Brighton Beach, the New York district of Brooklyn, and neighboring neighborhoods. From 2008 to 2010, I provided legal consultations to members of the All-Ukrainian Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (now this NGO is called 100% Life). As a volunteer, I assisted in preparing procedural documents at the Zaporizhzhia Regional Branch. I also participated in one of the organization’s projects as a lawyer. I conducted self-help groups and questionnaires of inmates at No. 99 Belenkivska Correctional Colony. Provided legal consultations to inmates. I was a member of the coordination council representing the PLHIV Network at the Zaporizhzhia City Council.
Over 15 years of legal practice, I have accumulated significant experience in applying the law and legal analysis, the fundamentals of which I am happy to share on my Instagram. My goal is to make the complex individual thought process as understandable as possible for People so that they are not dependent on circumstances.
My legal education, development of strong analytical skills, and negotiation skills have given me a unique perspective on the laws and rules of international trade. In 2019, with the aim of wholesale supply of goods from Asia, I founded the company Westfield Global Import. While some may find this unconventional for a lawyer, I will say that professionals often venture into new industries or sectors that better match their interests and aspirations. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, alongside my legal career, I have always had a passion for business. Transitioning to wholesale trade was a way to pursue this interest and engage in a field that excites me. I wanted to diversify my legal career and explore new opportunities beyond the legal realm. Participating in international wholesale trade presented a new challenge and an opportunity to apply my skills in a different context. Of course, the economic potential should also be noted. Wholesale trade with China implied a profitable business, which further motivated me to make the decision to start the company.

For me, fishing is a serene vacation in nature. It’s a chance to relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A kind of meditation. And, of course, the thrill of catching a trophy — that’s a special emotion, wouldn’t you agree?
